My Sunny Resort is a classic tycoon game – set in the sunny south. Your job as a player is to earn as much money as possible, invest it in your resort, and make even more money! You’ll have two major sources of income: 1) Your bungalow rent, which your guests pay, and 2) The rest of your vacationers’ budget, which will be spent on food and souvenirs during their stay.

The more furniture you have in your lodgings, and the more expensive it is, the more rent your guests will have to pay.

You’ll find everything you can place in your lodgings in the “Furniture” tab in the shop, divvied up into three categories. You’ll also find some beautiful flooring and wall designs in the “Lodgings” tab – these items have the advantage that they’ll increase the comfort of your bungalows without taking up any additional space.

Each bungalow’s info menu will show you the comfort level of your bungalow. To access it, just click on your bungalow and choose the “i”(Info) from the ring menu. The light blue bar at the bottom of the window will show you the wish star level you’ve reached and how far your furnishings are from the next star.

Use high-quality furniture, flooring, and wall designs to raise the comfort value of your bungalows just below the next star class, gaining you the maximum amount of rent.

Now the guests will only have a bit left over to spend on food, drinks, and souvenirs. Guests staying in a 1-star bungalow will also want to spend their money in restaurants or souvenir shops of the same price class.

Place your 1-star attractions near your 1-star bungalows.

This will make it easier for you to drag guests to the attractions they want to go to. You will even see recommendations of where to place your guests, indicated by traffic light colors:
Red: Your guest doesn’t want to move into this bungalow, or it’s still occupied
Yellow: There’s a vacancy here, but there is a more suitable bungalow.
Green: This is the best choice for your guest.

Always send your guests to the restaurants, shops, and attractions with the most stars – this will make them spend their budget faster and make room for more guests.

This advice does not apply to bungalows. If you put a 1-star guest in a more expensive bungalow, they will spend their entire vacation budget almost instantly, but you won't get many experience points for serving guests or selling products. But it also allows you to move faster.

Follow the suggestions given when hiring guests in the bungalow. If guests have more comfort in a bungalow for a holiday budget, they will leave soon.

The thought balloon above a guest’s head has a green border and you can see the recommendations when you try to drag it into a bungalow. If a yellow warning sign appears above the arrow, the bungalow is technically very expensive for guests.

When managing products, make sure to keep the composition of your guests’ star class in mind. Cheaper works, not vice versa.

Once the first 2-star guest knocks on your door they want 2-star convenience products. But sometimes they will also want to buy Star Class products under them. But below them is just a star class. However, your 1-star guest can only pay for cheaper products.

Tips for gifting you my beautiful resort

Hotel managers at my Sunny Resort have a lot to do: check guests, take care of their every wish and maintain a wide range of resort properties.

However, the happiness of your guests should be your number one priority and there are many things you can do to make your vacation as colorful as possible.

The decor attracts more guests

Of course, a beautiful interior design in your bungalow is never bad, but do not forget the advantages of the complex as a whole. As beautiful as your hotel property looks from the outside, guests will flock to your resort, dramatically reducing the time between guest arrivals.


1, 2, or 3 Star Guests

Your guests come with very different standards and expectations, and of course different budgets as well. Cheap charter tourists and luxury customers can be distinguished by their so-called star class.

Please note that your 1-star guests will accept a 2-star bungalow, but not the other way around! But if a bungalow almost completely exhausts the vacation budget of a group of guests, they will not stay long and you will not be able to earn many experience points with them. A yellow warning sign will alert you to bungalows that are above a guest's star class if you try to drag them there.

The staff at a resort is almost like a room, the same is true at my Sunny Resort. You can send your staff for training to improve skills: speed, friendliness, and grade. Your guests will feel more comfortable if they are treated with kindness and respect. The more friendly your staff is, the more advice your guests give when it’s time to go.

Your employees don’t just manage the buildings they’re assigned to, they can also manufacture some great products that will brighten up your guests’ stay. But of course, a guest won’t meander around the resort craving cupcakes for three days straight until he finally gets one. Wishes will disappear again eventually – at the latest when you log out – and you will get new ones when you return. So you don’t have to fulfill all of your guest's whims and wishes to make them happy.
Your guest's star class also plays a role when it comes to products. A 1-star guest would never dream of buying an expensive 2-star souvenir. But wealthier guests may get cravings for a product from a lower star class – after all, who can resist a tasty donut?

If your guests are already giggling impatiently and pushing for a reception, you can send them off to another resort with the help of a taxi rank. You have all kinds of options! You can choose your mountain resort as a 1-star family resort and your beach resort as a 5-star luxury hike. Or you can place a colorful mix of guests anywhere and send them wherever the room is!
